Michele McFarland is a freelance journalist and writer. Her work has appeared in the Associated Press, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Baltimore Magazine and other outlets. Her literary non-fiction appeared in Outside In Literary Travel Magazine and was chosen for the anthology, Whereabouts: Stepping Out of Place. Awards include the “Outstanding Graduate” award from The Johns Hopkins University where she earned a dual masters degree in fiction and non-fiction writing.
